Appliance Courses include Installation,Servicing, Commissioning, and Fault finding:
The way to become a Gas Safe registered Engineer is to gain on site and off site experience this is achieved by most people by becoming an Apprentice for a reputable Gas Safe Registered Company. Part of an apprenticeship would include a formal qualification at a college or training centre.
An Alternative route to completing your ACS gas assessments would be to enroll and complete a Gas Foundation Course. A part of this course is completed at a College or Training Centre and will include a large amount of theory and practical gas work. In addition to this a portfolio of onsite gas work must be completed with full work records and photographic evidence, all signed off by a Gas Safe Registerd Engineer and Company.
Once this has been completed and you are working with a GAS SAFE registered company then you could apply for your ACS gas assessments and eventually your Gas Safe registration.
